Delete authorization and local data

1. Stop any active job.
   Allow an approved update to finish or stop the queue before deleting application data.
2. Disconnect Google inside the application.
   Open Settings and select Disconnect Google. This removes the API Client’s locally stored authorization credentials.
3. Revoke access through Google.
   Open Google’s third-party access settings, locate the entry for the API Client or its Google Cloud OAuth application, and remove access.
4. Close the application.
   Close the browser tab and the local terminal or server window so no application files remain in use.
5. Delete the local data directory.
   Open the application folder and delete the folder named data. This removes stored scan results, description backups, job records, settings, link-library records, and other locally retained API Data.
6. Empty the computer’s Recycle Bin.
   This completes ordinary local deletion. Secure-erasure tools may be used when required by the organization’s security policy.

Deletion by request

A deletion request may be sent to info@calbartoncashback.com. Include the Google account or channel associated with the authorization and state that the request concerns Cal Video Description Manager.

Barton Media LLC will delete OAuth credentials and Authorized Data associated with a revoked authorization as soon as reasonably possible and no later than seven calendar days after revocation or a verified deletion request.

What deletion removes

• OAuth access and refresh tokens stored by the API Client;
• channel and video metadata retrieved through the API;
• locally stored video descriptions and backups;
• preview records, selected-video records, job history, and error logs containing API Data;
• local link-library and Google Sheets synchronization data; and
• application settings associated with the deleted data directory.

What deletion does not change

Deleting the local data directory does not reverse description changes that were already published to YouTube. Use the application’s backup or undo function before deletion when a published description must be restored.

Deletion also does not remove information retained directly by Google or YouTube under their own policies. Review the Google Privacy Policy and manage the Google account directly for information controlled by Google.

Limited retention

Barton Media LLC may retain minimal non-content records when reasonably necessary to document compliance, investigate security incidents, or satisfy legal obligations. Such retained records will not be used to operate the API Client or for advertising and will be deleted when no longer required.
