Why I opened Slash
I wanted my team to spend. Not have my main card number.
My editors need software to do their jobs. Inside Slash, I created a Content Production account and an Editor Software card group. I could choose specific companies I wanted to allow, including Canva, Adobe, and OpenAI.
That’s the part that made this interesting to me: giving someone the access they need, with rules around how they can use it.

Starting an application does not select a paid plan.
Eligible purchases matters. Some merchants, including Amazon, Walmart, and PayPal, do not earn cashback. Foreign-currency and non-U.S. merchant purchases are also excluded. Other fees may apply, including card design, shipping, and certain transfers. Check cashback exclusions · Review current fees

A few things to know first
Good questions. Straight answers.
The details matter. Make sure the way this card works matches what your business needs.
Is this a new line of borrowed money?
No. Slash’s corporate charge card is supported by your business’s cash. Your available limit cannot exceed your deposited funds and also depends on Slash’s business assessment. Depositing $5,000 does not create another $5,000 in borrowed cash.
Can I carry a balance month to month?
No. Payment of the card balance is due in full daily. Slash describes automatic settlement at the end of each business day. This is different from a revolving credit card with monthly minimum payments.
Does EIN-only mean there is no verification?
No. The card is marketed without a personal guarantee or personal credit check, but Slash still verifies the business and the people associated with it. It can request identity documents, bank statements, and evidence of operating activity. This page does not promise anonymous access or approval.
Can a sole proprietor apply?
The standard U.S. business account covered here is for eligible registered business entities, such as LLCs and corporations. Slash does not currently support sole proprietorships or consumer accounts. Additional eligibility and industry restrictions apply.
Does every purchase earn cashback?
No. The rate depends on your plan, and merchant and transaction exclusions apply. Examples include Amazon, Walmart, and PayPal. Check the current cashback rules for the complete list before comparing plans.
Does the Free plan include a free gold metal card?
Do not assume that. The artwork on this page is illustrative. Physical designs, metal-card eligibility, card fees, and shipping can vary. Slash’s metal-card guide lists a $20 card fee plus shipping, with possible waivers for eligible accounts. Review the price and design in your dashboard before ordering.
Is Slash a bank? Is Treasury a savings account?
Slash is a financial technology company, not a bank. Banking services and the charge card are provided by Column N.A., Member FDIC. Treasury is a separate investment account, not an FDIC-insured savings account. Investments may lose value and withdrawals are subject to settlement and availability rules.
